2008 Motorcycle Run Raises Thousands for WHAS Crusade for Children

One leg of the Kentucky Touchstone Energy Charity Motorcyle Run heads out on the highway.

The 2008 Touchstone Energy Charity Motorcycle Run hit the road Saturday, August 23, with 430 riders on 310 motorcycles. On the west leg, from Bowling Green to Elizabethtown, 201 bikes participated. And 109 bikes roared across the east leg, from Jamestown to Elizabethtown.

This year’s event raised $4,750 for the WHAS Crusade for Children, a Louisville-based organization that raises money for schools, hospitals and agencies to help special needs children
overcome physical, mental, emotional and medical problems.
